Terms of use

These terms apply when you use PubFileConverter, a service run by Ahmet Hakan Yıldız (trading as H For Fun), Türkiye ("we", "us"). By uploading files or buying credits you agree to them.

The service

PubFileConverter converts Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files to PDF. You can upload files and see watermarked previews for free. Downloading PDFs needs a sign-in with your e-mail address and uses credits.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, and able to enter into a contract. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm you may do so on its behalf.

Credits and payment

• Each e-mail address gets 3 free files once.
• One credit converts one file to PDF, regardless of the number of pages. Downloading a file you already paid for is free.
• Files that can't be converted are never charged.
• Credits are bought in one-time packs and don't expire.
• Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and handles sales tax. Polar's terms apply to the payment itself.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of a purchase, no questions asked. See refunds.

Your files

• Only upload files you have the right to use. You keep all rights to your files and to the PDFs we make from them.
• We delete uploads, PDFs and previews 24 hours after upload. Download what you need within that time.
• Don't use the service to process unlawful content or to attack or overload it.

Conversion quality

We work hard to make PDFs that match the original, and you can check every page before you pay. Some differences are possible, for example when a document used fonts we can't install. If something looks wrong, tell us with the "Looks right?" buttons or by e-mail.

Responsibility

The service is provided as it is. Keep your original files: we are not a backup service. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but can't promise it is always available or error-free. We may change or stop features; if we ever close the service, we'll announce it on this site at least 30 days in advance.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes don't affect credits you already bought. These terms are governed by the law of Türkiye. Questions: contact@pubfileconverter.com.
